Fear is their worst album.

Fear being touted the worse when both No Prayer and Virtual XI exist is mind boggling.

Black sabbath were releasing metal music a decade before iron maiden. Also fear of the dark is easily one of their worst albums

Sometimes I wonder how people can listen to the same album, and have wildly different opinions, like, which Kiss album is better/worse, Dynasty, or Rock and Roll over ?, I think the latter is a borefest, deserving a 5/10, yet, the score https://www.albumoftheyear.org/album/54388-kiss-dynasty.php https://www.albumoftheyear.org/album/54380-kiss-rock-and-roll-over.php

maiden riffs are better imo. Sabbath might be heavier, but maiden's are more difficult to play and very harmonious. That's why iron maiden sounds so melodically concise. It's in their riffs as much as it's in the solos. But black sabbath gave us sabbath bloody sabbath and sabotage. So they still win I guess
