Talentless hack posting serves multiple purposes. First of all, it connects old and new /mu/. Second, it makes sure that Lou Reed, the father of alternative music or hipster bullshit or whatever you want to call it, is always on the catalog. This is important because /mu/ is supposed to be about the kind of music that Lou Reed created and influenced. So it affirms the withered board culture and reminds us why we're here.
