Electronic music is fun. Real instruments aren't.

This but the opposite. Music is only cool when it's plated on instruments. Electronic music is like a friend pulling up a fun YouTube video for you to see

You put it perfectly. There's something inherently off with electronic music and it doesn't seem very human.

there is simply no way you believe this. no one on earth believes this. i know tons of people who make electronic music and when they pic up an instrument they literally say shit like "time to make real music". there is nothing sacred about electronic music. nothing divine about it at all. nothing even communal about it which is the point of music. its hedonistic trash for soulless simpletons with devolved rat-like brains.

It depends entirely on who you are referring to when it comes to electronic music

I like both. I'll always be a guitar fag but sometimes I just want to listen to house music for 12 hours (and I'm not even on drugs)

electronic music can be great and some of my favourite music ever is electronic, but there’s a otherworldly, timeless quality to instrumental music that can’t be replicated. ensembles and orchestras can take you to places that electronics could never.

there is no way you're an adult. calling Bach "slop" tells me without a shadow of a doubt that you are child. stay in school and one day you'll grow up and develop good musical taste. ac nah you probably wont.

your ears dont work. neither does your brain. when you hit puberty you'll start to get it hopefully.

Only retarded opinions ITT. In the end everything is sinewaves, even the most classic album will still be recorded somewhat digitally. There is no difference between physical instruments or electronic instruments, only difference in waveforms

You only think that because you'll never be skilled with an instrument to the point where playing it becomes fun and unconstrained. With electronic music you can just program it and have the computer play it for you.
Which is fine, I like electronic music, but you'll never experience the raw, spontaneous feelings that performance and improvisation can bring you. You will likely also never experience whatever it is that electronic producers who reach an equivalent level feel, because considering that you can't even learn the most basic stuff on instruments, there's no reason to think you'd do any better on electronic relative to all the other people who do it.

With real instruments, even if you are playing the same note, there are variations to it that add that human element to the song. With electronic music, every note you play is the same, so you lose a bit of the character. You can tell apart guitarists by their style, but the synths on electronic music could be from any artist. It's not necessarily a bad thing though, just different.

>>127612998
I agree with you on the real instruments thing but
>With electronic music, every note you play is the same
This is not always true, there are a lot of ways to add variation, one example being LFOs and how they can change attack, delay, sustain, release or any combination between them
