Someone would say classical, but classical is kinda universal although I guess to really delve deep you need to be kinda autistic. I'm not saying it just to be different or to be a contrarian. I really do think Orchid is way better than anything else they made. It's melodic but it's still heavy, their later stuff tries to be really progressive but it does nothing for me. I've tried to listen to their later albums but I just don't get the hype. Imo they peaked early with that album then lost what they had going in an attempt to stand out more
