Just saw them in Philly. Saw them with Chester twice. Emily's voice just doesn't cut through the air like Chester's did. She hits all the same notes, but it's quieter, not as full. Chester's singing soared over the band and the crowd like a fucking hypersonic missile. Show was still good. Chester would be pushing 50 so who knows what he'd sound like now. But...he is missed.

A couple days ago it was officially one year since they announced her. I'd say she's an excellent fit. Her vocal range is insane which is good since LP songs run from slow high note to rage and acreaming, and somehow she keep her voice despite screaming every other day. She is also a good fit outside the stage as well, she's a bit crazy and quirky which is perfect for LP. Go ahead and check them out, I had a lot of fun when I saw them.
