Post-Barrett Floyd is mostly nihilist wrist cutting music with some ocasionally good composition and melody mixed in which was always from RICHARD WRIGHT.
Barrett era Floyd is good psychedelic pop-rock, a rare taste but not bland or boring, it had a lot of energy that nothing later Floyd had, kinda proto-punk, if you're into it it's great, if not it's absolute trash.
Animals, Echoes, DSOTM - debatable, mix of genres, influences from all band members, some really good stuff, mostly average, some bad stuff
The Wall - Waters politisperging in the wrong direction without identifying or naming the real problem
Pulse - Gilmour - musical equivalent of heroin withdrawal, wrist cutting, suicide
