Never struck me as a Vegas installation-sparkly Gretsch kind of guy.

The Norah Jones tribute in Detroit a week after he died was immaculate.

Almost all of Superunknown is two Gretsch Jets and one or two of Kim's Guild guitars.
Cornell used Gretsch guitars up until his death. His signature 335 also had Lollar filtertron style pickups. Most of the time when he used regular humbuckers was for songs that needed a very low tuned guitar.
Gretsch / Filtertron guitars blend incredibly well with regular humbucker guitars. They're have a more flat eq voicing that acts as a great bed for the mid forward regular humbuckers.

Saw him live within 2 years of the suicide and he legit had a long speech about overcoming the darkness together and how sad lyrics relate us to each other so we know we're not alone. Wew

Teenager take. Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains are the two best grunge bands. Nirvana is for pop type kids

>Teenager take

Still believes there are "best" bands, doesn't acknowledge that taste is entirely subjective.
