Are there any bands where the drummer and the bassist are the same person and they have to play a bass riff then quickly run to the drums to play a fill?

Wtf? Anon it doesn't work like that those guys use a contraption that looks like a ddr pad to make these hydrologic arms bang on drums and cymbals while they riff. It's very difficult because you have to hit the pads with your feet sooner than what you're playing on Bass because of the delay between the pad, arms, and then the actual sounds being produced. Looks stupid as fuck tho.

The early Mothers had an arrangement like that sometimes. We're talking pre-1968 Mothers, and Frank had several songs where everyone followed their own scores. Usually involved some audience participation. He did this all the time at the Garrick
