I remember them being the only boyband in the 90s having songs that I could actually tolerate so that probably helped. Speaking of which, since kpop is having a huge boom in the west now it's weird that western labels isn't trying to capitalize on that by trying to make boybands again. It's clearly showing that there is a gap in the market for teenage girls when it comes to shit like this.

I looked into this, it was only ever sold at their shows and website and was a vanity project for Nick Carter so no they never tried to sell it to boys in comic shops.
