Irish people often have huge noses and ears, and huge heads. By Irish I mean culchies, or country folk. Middle class city folk (especially Dubliners) usually look more anglo than celt. More likely that we actually settled in the Ibernian peninsula 800-1000 years ago and then when some of our descents moved back to ireland they brought the dark hair with them. Same for the Scottish, we settled there and mixed with the Picts, mixing our language music and customs.
