Do you just let the algorithm choose your music?
Be it a streaming service or some shill like Fantano?

sometime, because the algorithm relies on other people taste.

Let say a guy likes X and finished listening and went to his next favorite song Z, then liked it.

In your situation if you listened to X , then Z will be suggested to you.
Basically testing if you have a smillar taste.

Now imagine a huge cluster of people liking and listing, you will almost always have something that you like from the algorithm.

not always though I can thank the 2017 Spotify algorithm for introducing me to King Giz and Zen Guerilla. I've just been scouring old forums for music that I'm interested in, checking release charts for random new stuff, and hitting up garage sales/thrift stores for cassettes to add to my collection. As long as the music is good I'll listen.

I don't want to make a thread about it, but I want to talk about it, so I'm posting about it here. I've been addicted to Super Mario 64 soundfonts of songs lately. Some of them are very well done. JQHN and on4word in particular seem to do a great job of them. Thanks for reading my post.
