Yeah I'm very glad I didn't live in the time where you had to go out and buy the specific album or single to hear the tunes. That's just fucked up even to think about.

>music can at any time disappear from the platform
>wrong versions on wrong albums all the time
>wrong cover art
Spotify is for normie morons.

Remember when Neil Young and Joni Mitchell pulled their music because of the Joe Rogan deal? Like what the fuck? Who gives a shit about Joe Rogan. I just want to listen to Powderfinger fuck you dude.

With spotify you can access 95% of popular music anywhere from all devices without needing to invest hours and money into building massive libraries. I would need to have at least 300gb on my phone to have a satisfactory library.

>*devalues music by making it easily accessible to anyone for free as well as allowing any random dumbass to upload their soundcloud beats and awful low-fi indie slop to dilute the library even further as well as pay artists incredibly poorly and use most of the funding to donate to AI drones and war machines

I have unironically just started using Youtube for 90% of my music listening. With an adblocker and taking the time to arrange shit into playlists, its really not much different from actual streaming services. And these days its not too hard to find uploads with audio quality at least as good as what spotify offers.

>rent-forever business strategy
>for music
Imagine being sold a worse product when you had CDs and mp3s right fucking there. Normies are retards who went after the wrong thing.

Now music has been utterly ruined by having the barrier to entry be complete nothingness.

My method, I just use YouTube music (web version) with ad blocker. Beats Spotify anyway of the year.

Yes, but they still only offer brickwalled loudness war remasters of any classic album, so it’s still not worth spending money on.

Youtube on the browser. I use Brave on my phone and it behaves exactly like spotify (works when the screen is locked, controls on the lock screen).
Anonymous No.127738922 [Report]
I've never used it once
