second favorite hardcore album behind Today's Empires Tomorrow's Ashes by Propagandhi, even if that's a little more melodic hardcore

you should listen to Classics of Love, it's Jesse Micheals' later 2010's band, he sounds much more grown and also the music is somewhat heavier too. its fucking rad, there's some ska in there as well but not on the level of Energy

I wouldn't say they sound similar but my favourite of that kind of Ska Punk sound is Operation Ivy, Choking Victim and Slapstick and coincidentally all 3 bands also have spin off bands (although none of them are quite as good in my opinion).
