Maybe the only legit 10/10 Beatles album.

I mean, of course they have other great album, but those albums are full of fillers, unlike Rubber Soul.

Not OP but I agree. As much as the White Album is amazing I cannot sit through revolution 9 and Wild Honey Pie unless I determine before the album that I want to listen to the thing in whole.

Rubber Soul is just the album where they stopped making pop for kids and started making pop for dads. Congrats on liking the musical equivalent of a beard. If Smile had actually dropped, no one would even pretend to care about this record.

every beatles album has too many fillers, if they just replaced them with rain/paperback writer on revolver and strawberry fields/penny lane on sgt pepper it would be a big jump in quality
