i feel like it would be cathartic for society if a young refreshing rock band somehow took over the world, not some pop slop like imagine dragons or retro slop like greta van fleet, or disney slop like olivia rodrigo.

i think people felt like rock would come back, but instead we got really bad pop country, benson boon, and sabrina carpenter.

i do wonder what will happen to blacks socially when hip hop truly does die, they put all their eggs into one basket, so i think that will back fire on them and toss them into social irrelevancy

i don't think black people are becoming less culturally relevant. even if they are, it'll only be a few years before artificial intelligence makes everyone culturally irrelevant

That's a really good observation.
It's sad, really. They prune and purity test themselves to make sure it stays completely full of hiphop fans only. Once it dies soon, I wonder how they'll deal with being culturally irrelevant.

People are tired of hiphop, it's been played to death. I can't believe black people themselves still like that genre without liking anything else.
