This is a really good album and the only reason it doesn’t get the praise it deserves is because of the album cover

Yes. Very good cover versions. There was a time that was my favourite Dylan album

This seems like a weird reach but I can actually hear some of his later modern period style in this album. It's a similar kind of reverent country-blues preservationism, if more primitive and stripped down.
