Boring, formless, no sense of dynamics or tension. Doesnt pass for dance music or cerebral music. Live show is boredom inducing Ableton tech showcase and the darkness gimmick just accentuates how BORING it is.

I used to kinda think this way, although i always appreciated everything pre confield... However, once their music finally clicked for me I can confidently day they are one of the greatest electronic artists of all time and I'm grateful to be alive at the same time as them. Your comment makes me think that you've barely given an album a shot, which is ok, you are entitled to your opinion. Just know that you are dead wrong and you sound retarded to everyone that gets them. Aphex, plaid, square pusher, black dog, uziq, hell even boc all range from good to great. But they pale in comparison to these 2 bongs (aphex comes pretty close and only recently dropped to 2nd place for me). So yeah, i respect your opinion because art is objectively pointless, but ur gay
