is it just me or are the recommended just completely broken at the moment. it refuses to recommend me any individual songs but everything is compilation, mixes and other slop (ideally with ai art). the longer the runtime the better.
doesnt matter how many times I press not interested or dont recommend channel

I get comps and mixes but mostly songs recommended - of the latter of which some are a bit "out there" in terms of the recent songs I've been listening to, but most are relatively in the ballpark. and I use YouTube daily. fwiw I regularly listen to albums all the way through or just go to my all-time favorites playlist and listen to some songs there. the point being idk what all goes into one's algo recommendations

For me it works perfectly, with minimal input, but i avoid confusing it with random searches, any search term too strong i do it in incognito mode

A thousand times this, for Youtube content in general. If you ever want to occasionally watch whatever slop like bodycam videos or joe rogan clips, watch it in incognito mode otherwise your feed will become nothing but those things forever.
