Geese and BCNR are so far the only truly zoomer bands who have dropped modern classics already. You gotta give us from 2025 to 2030 to release classics as we older Gen Z are aging into our late 20s and early 30s. That's more likely when we're going to be making our modern classics and we're only in the first year of it. Wednesday might have a modern classic up their sleeves or MJ Lenderman, but not exactly yet. Wet Leg and Chat Pile are straight up millennials. Magdalena Bay are almost zoomers, but are xillennials instead, though yeah, they're obviously 100% zoomer-approved. Ethel is a legit zoomer, though one of the older ones among us, and I can't say anything yet has been on the level of Geese or BCNR. We'll see. But no, I don't think we're in an epidemic of mediocre zoomers. Wait a few more years and then we'll see, boomer. ;)
