It's really rare when a B side album is good but Emotion's B side album is great enough to stand as it's own album. Maybe the short running time helped

Look I like this, I like Dedicated and Side B, Loneliest time and Loveliest time were decent, but its really not on the next level of pop like people on the internet claim. I've listened to other better girl pop albums from the past decade.

I agree. that she got some sort of lucky timing releasing emotion as poptimsm became en vogue. I still think it's rare for pop to translate to the album format. usually it's 2-3 singles and 30 minutes of filler tracks

If you've never heard any of her pre-breakout stuff, you should rectify that immediately. Tug of War is a fucking great album.
