I think this album is pretty good. The two long tracks at the end I've been playing a lot

there's no such thing as a cult album by a famous band with other critically acclaimed albums. cult followings gather around no-name artists

This is too high. There are zero good songs on the album, it's worse than bafflingly bad, it's bafflingly generic. It's a series of fucking elevator jingles.

Slow Rush is trash, the /mu/ consensus is that MGMT mogs Lame Impala who are shitty John Lennon wannabe hacks.

It's honestly not that bad.

"Dracula" for example is basically a Quincy Jones-tier production, but that just doesn't excite in 2025.

Like nearly all Tame Impala releases, the vocal melodies start to sink in a bit more after multiple listens. I hated the vocalon "Loser" when it was released, but now I can't get it out of my head.

p4k rating albums below 5 is a great sign tho, because most of the stuff they hand out 7, 8 or 9 sucks ass. Their taste in music simply sucks a lot of ass.
