absolutely, i have perfect pitch, got a 9 in gcse music, am constantly gooning to jazz fusion and prog rock and shit. i have the most decked out spotify. but most of the time i can't even come up with a decent melody. i'm good at making rhythm sections though, i can do anything but make a fucking melody, i have made the most earth shattering, ass jiggling, anally raping chord progressions, some fire bass accompaniment and percussion, and strings that will just make you cum all over the place. but i can not FOR THE LIFE OF ME MAKE A FUCKING MELODY. what the FUCK.
