They started with 2 really energetic and hard going albums which I listen to daily to this day.

Then they did indeed sell out and made 3 albums which are just slow background slop for women

Then they turned around again and released 2 slow albums which this time were shockingly NOT slop but actually very interesting albums which i ALSO listen to daily.
Personal top 4 in no particular order as which is my favorite varies on mood:

>Teddy Picker
>Batphone
>Sculptures of Anything Goes

Great band, Helders always made me want to get into drums
The first 2 albums are classics
Some people don't like the Homme produced ones as much but I always thought Humbug was their best
I have a lot of nostalgia for AM even though it's probably one of their weaker albums. I credit it for getting me into guitar at least.
I really enjoy the latest two, it filtered the AM teen girls that never took the Scott Walker pill. The production and string arrangements on Mirrorball are fantastic
