I hate when artists have an album that's so good it completely BTFOs their entire body of work. Poor Cocteau Twins. Should have just stop making albums right here if they weren't gonna develop on this insane sound they had going here rather than regress into generic dream pop.

Heaven or Las Vegas is a great album, but the older I get the more I come back to Four Calendar Café. Essence and Pur might be their two best songs. Lazy Calm rounds out the top three.
