MK8 soundtrack is good but very old fashioned to anyone familiar with the genre. It's hardly modern and it's hardly changing anything

I don't even listen to fusion but the stuff I hear on my local jazz station is usually 10X more interesting than nintendo music. Maybe it's a 10/10 if the use case is background music for a game, but it really has no depth compared to actual fusion with independence from a game
