The theory for this cancellation is that Mike Joyce (The Smiths drummer) wrote a book about The Smiths that is coming out soon, and blogs started publishing parts of it yesterday, and he couldn't handle the stress.
Everyone he worked with since The Smiths has signed an NDA, and Mike Joyce didn't.
And Morrissey hates Mike because Mike took him to court over performance royalties on the albums.
