I can confirm Pitchfork is a dead website because i just found out they gave this random album a 9.3 a few months ago and I've seen zero threads talking about it.

/mu/ doesn't actually like music unless it's Drake, Kendrick, Kanye, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, or Kpop. If an album or artist doesn't fall into this category it's either irrelevant or trust fund slop

I find the unbearable whiteness of Pitchfork deeply problematic.

mu doesn't really talk about new/experimental/underground music anymore, it's all pop/rap crap.

and it's not really a random album either, elysia crampton has been around in the experimental electronic scene since 2013, you should be clued in by now.

He's not a tranny, just gay. Rymtroons invented him to be a tranny because he released under a girl's name.

idk, I'd say it's dense, repetitive, noisy, surreal, avant-garde, hypnotic, psychedelic, sampling, maximalist, rhythmic, LGBTQ, atmospheric, instrumental, spiritual, eclectic, uplifting, heavy, raw, ritualistic, folklore, warm, complex, futuristic, energetic, ethereal, mythology, anticolonialism, chaotic, jamming, quirky, family, progressive, punchy, bright, bouncy, dissonant, lo-fi

Pitchfork has no credibility anymore.

For a critical enterprise, cred is everything, and Bitchfork has lost its.

assumed this would be a DEI BNM given the aztec names of the artists but this cd isn't too bad actually, kind of up /mu/'s alley i'd even say
