Can someone explain the appeal of these guys to me? It just sounds like angry, industrial, hip hop, which could potentially be interesting, but they just feel soulless to me.

I don’t like rap either but I can understand the appeal of certain rappers. These motherfuckers just sound like daughters if they rapped (another band that I get nothing from nor can understand the appeal of)

Basically they ran a really fun and cool interactive arg on this board a decade + ago but they're starting to kinda get lazy with the marketing. You should've been here tho. It was fun

i dont think its an issue of more or less aggressive. death grips is an art project, thats the soulless vibe OP is getting, i get it too, i used to listen to them but not anymore theyre kinda a vapid, surface experience, theyre not expressing important things that happen to them, they just craft a performance, and thats it
