>Amnesiac is better than Kid A
Amnesiac is the best Radiohead album by a wide margin. Kid A, OKC, HTTT and Bends are decent but overrated. Everything since In Rainbows has been trash. Fantanofags can fuck off and stop defending this shit. Thom solo and his other band projects are invariably awful. Jonny Greenwood, and to a lesser extent Phil Selway, are the only good members of the band.
>Dollars and Cents is better than any song on Kid A
There are at least 3-4 songs on Kid A that are better.

Radiohead did specifically rip off Can, Faust, Kraftwerk, Neu!, and Cluster/Harmonia a lot. It’s true.

>Only krautrock thing they did was dollars and cents and national anthem.
You have no idea what you’re talking about. Dollars and Cents is a blatant ripoff of Miles Davis’ “In a silent way”. And Thom gave specific instructions to the wind players on The National Anthem to sound like Charles Mingus. They had a hundred songs where they were more obviously borrowing from Germans than these two. The first half of “sit down, stand up” is pure Kraftwerk pastiche. Cuttooth is Neu! with some vocals thrown on top. Half the songs from Kid A make it plain that Thom was obsessed with “Oh Yeah” by Can when he was writing and recording them.
Thats the problem with Radiohead though, isn’t it? They have good taste and rip off quality music, but at the end of the day they’re still just mixing and matching bits from their influences with minimal original ideas.
