This. I like Van Halen (DLR era) a lot more than Elvis Costello, but My Aim Is True, This Year's Model, and Armed Forces are all fantastic albums. I prefer American power pop and New wave to the Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello, Rockpile kind of stuff. The Jam is also more my speed when it comes to the UK stuff from that era. Different strokes, ya know?
