If you go take a look at song writing credits you will see Mike Clark's name as much as Rocky's. I would argue that they were working as a band and that contributed to their success.

Struggled to really get into them after their s/t, just a shift in sound that largely sounded messy/similar/boring at times. OP's album had some good riffs, and there are certainly good songs sprinkled on most releases, just doesn't hold a handle to debut one.

A great melo thrash band, they had a great run until the art of revolution, Muir's debut and his funk metal project are worth checking out.
That being said I find their debut to be their best, so much attitude and energy captured there. I still can't believe the guitarist dissappear without any trace, his solos were superb on those 28 min
