It's them Quad City DJs and you, we call it the train
So if you wanna ride your thing
Just come on down the train
We gonna rock, ooh, Lord, just jump aboard, baby
So get your next of kin, your sister and your friend
Pack it up now
Choo, choo, ride on this, choo, choo
And, boo, you need to stop faking, and come on with me
I wanna take you home with me, to be alone with me
And I can see you wanna hide it, come on, just divide it
And please don't knock it, until you ride it

Idk, a massive balloon probably causes a lot more air resistance than a wagon behind a locomotive(the additional rolling resistance is probably pretty insignificant).
So it would likely be less fuel efficient.

So the idea is having a blimp but unlike a traditional blimb it is tethered. Not thetered to the ground but a loco. The loco then moves on tracks! Whats so hard to get here?
There's been many suggestions on /n/ over the years that would bring minor improvements to tbe blimp train but the significant benefits very obviously lie in the blimp train itself.
