Wes Moore Privately Praised Trump as the 'Greatest President of My Lifetime.'
The Maryland governor has frequently been floated as a potential 2028 presidential candidate.

President Donald Trump claimed that Maryland Gov. Wes Moore privately told him that he’s been “the greatest president” in the governor’s lifetime.

On Monday, Aug. 25, the president was speaking to reporters in the Oval Office about Maryland’s largest city, Baltimore, saying that the “horrible death bed” is filled with crime. As Trump, 79, continued, he remarked that he met Moore, 46, at the 2024 Army-Navy football game in mid-December in Landover, Md.

There, Trump claims Moore approached him. “He came over, he hugged me, he shook my hand. He said, ‘Sir, you are the greatest president in my lifetime,' " Trump claimed, adding that Moore allegedly told him, "'Sir, you’re doing a fantastic job. I just want to shake your hand.' "

Actually it's more concerning when the US President starts randomly lying that his opponents actually said he's the best ever.

There are a few ways to measure a president.
1) is the country better off or worse off when he leaves office?
1a) is that the result of him primarily or Congress?
2) did he achieve his stated goals while in office (for better or worse)?

As far as being effective and getting the things he wanted done, Trump has been very effective compared to every president since Reagan. Reagan had Congress on his side, and the GOP majority in Congress is simply letting him do what he wants without them.

You'd have to go back to FDR to find a president who got more done, with Congress and the USSC assisting. But Trump has only been in his second term a half-year. FDR had over three full terms.

I don't like Trump or his followers, but admit that he has been wilidly effective.

He's been very effective at enacting his retarded policies... you know, when they're not being tied up in constant legal battles.

The problem is, all of his policies are backfiring horrifically on the country at large. Inflation is ramping up out the ass, our international reputation is in tatters, and he's added about 4 trillion to national debt in half a year alone.

you aren't going to convince anyone arguing inflation rates given the previous presidents track record.

So at the very least, you would agree that if you consider trumps peak inflation rate of 2.7% to be "ramping up out the ass" then the peak bidenflation rate of over 9% you must consider to have been very devastating to Americans since peak bidenflation is more than 3x that of peak trump inflation.

Or do you hold a double standard?

Biden's peak inflation rate includes covid you retard. Trump has already surpassed the peak from his first term in the first 6 months and it's increasing week by week as prices keep going up and up from his tariffs.

COVID was five years ago.
Biden made food more expensive by dicking with oil production.

Covid STARTED 5 years ago. It didn't fully end until late 2022/early 2023, and the effects it had on trade and the economy still have some ripples today.

Biden didn't dick with oil production at all lmao. One shut down pipeline doesn't mean shit.

This has been true for pretty much every president over the last century.
The rate at which food prices increased was 3x quicker under Biden than they currently are under trump.

I feel like there was a post on here not even a month ago that I could look up in the archives. It listed (and cited evidence for) like a dozen things Biden did to "dick with oil production" and the pipeline was just a single one

But I really don't think you care about facts whatsoever, you are just here to flood the zone with shit and push false narratives

Again, stop memoryholeing covid. Comparing prices that resulted from a global pandemic disrupting trade internationally to prices resulting from Trump's retarded trade policies doesn't work.

Wes Moore is a massive sycophant, I wouldn't put it past him. Notice how he didn't deny it outright, he just said "keep telling yourself that" which seems more like a wink wink nudge nudge situation if I've ever seen one.
