A thread to discuss, post, create, and review anything related to automotive decals and stickers, as well as other general aesthetic modifications (wraps, license plate frames, etc).

NOTE: I am a first-time baker of these threads. I have been away from the community both here and in JSC since last year, have been meaning to get back to being active lately, and after a discussion with a friend earlier tonight came here only to find no thread, and the latest one I can find in the archive is from January. If I've missed something and the threads have been discontinued on purpose, someone please let me know.

Also, the pastebins in the OP bake I copied were both locked on March 3 for having "been deemed potentially harmful." Gotta love the current timeline.

For those of you looking for non-anime, JDM inspired stickers, here is a list of vendors I've been maintaining for a couple years. Isn't it? That's Reiko Terayama from Golden Boy, and the sticker itself is from MixedPleasures.jp, with the artwork being done by the awesome ala21ddin21. I fully recommend MixedPleasures; awesome vendor and the quality of his stickers is first rate.

Posting my most recent genuine JDM sticker score from YJA a couple months ago. I've been collecting stuff specifically from Zero Four R (RIP) since ~2001 when I first got my hands on one of their beautiful blow off valves, had never found a sticker before this one popped up.

I found that website, Anti-BMW. Since they were selling them as part of a pack, you may consider messaging them and asking if they have any of the shift pattern ones left that you can buy. I've done that with vendors before and half the time they still have a little stock remaining.

Nice! I'm commissioning a few designs using that same theme only with Arizona green tea cans. One is going to be both Reiko Terayama from Golden boy in that popular shot of her chugging the beer, but with an Arizona green tea in place of the beer, and the other is Twilight Suzuka from Outlaw Star, holding the can instead of her Japanese style tea cup.

spinnywhoosh.com is one popular printer in the community. PNG or PSD formats are fine (possibly vector but I didn't ask) and in CMYK color format. I'm pretty sure he'll do single prints as well, but I mean, if you're going to have one printed just for yourself, you may as well have a few spares printed as well.
I'm trying to remember who the other printer is a lot of vendors use as well. They were always active in JSC. Like, I'd recognize the name instantly but I just can't think of it right now and I don't have them bookmarked on this PC.

the fixative spray i got made them really matte even though the can and amazon listing said glossy on it which is annoying the vinyl i print on is really glossy and looks great but the colour fades over time and i dont think it weather resistant so hoping the spray makes those last a while ill get another spray when i make some more hopefully itll be actually glossy

Thanks, that one was actually from a Russian vendor which closed up shop, sadly. I did the entire bucket with Ayuko since car wash and swimsuit were so fitting together.

I just like that era of cars is simple, easy to work on, has dirt cheap parts, and holds up well. 30 years old and it looks new meanwhile j get in people's cars now that are only 5-7 years old and they are rattle traps with broken plastic and torn vinyl everywhere. My favorite cars will always be 80s-90s Japanese; the build quality, the aesthetics/design, including the interiors (I think Japanese cars from 1989-94 marked the peak of automotive interior design), the way the technology had reached that perfect apex of analog & digital combined.
I get in a modern car ad it's like I'm always sitting on that cheap nasty dark grey "leather" like the massage chairs in the mall, surrounded by that cheap, textured tupperware material for the dash/center console/door panels, and everything is in the blockiest shaped possible (with either chrome or silver painted accents). Fucking hate it. Hate the giant iPad where console controls used to be. And the build quality is such shit that it makes my 02 Diamante seem like a Toyota Land Cruiser.

I tried to order from weapons grade waifus for the slaps they have and they left the apartment unit off my address causing it to be sent back to the original sender. Is there a way I can still get a seller to retry sending it for most places or am I fucked?
