My only requirements for a new car were :

I really like how this car drives. The interior has a lot of little rattles though which is disappointing. Interior storage space fucking sucks but easily solved by buying aftermarket storage solutions to place behind the seats and in the trunk.

NTA but I have a 370z (exact same trunk as the 400Z) and storage space isn't an issue for 1-2 people, even for road trips. You can fit 2 golf bags/large duffel bags in the trunk like in picrel, and an inordinate amount of groceries as long as you don't drive too hard and burst a milk jug.
The front area, on the other hand, is kinda rough. The center console is big enough for your phone and wallet, the glove box is fine for papers and a couple small tools, there's one cup holder and some door pockets that'll fit a standard water bottle and whatever you had in your pockets before entering the vehicle, and there are some small alcoves behind the seats that'll fit a purse or football.
Besides that, there isn't much storage space to speak of.

No reason to with a manual supra unless you (perhaps rightfully) are fearful of the longterm ownership experience of that, or you just want a biggish rwd car that isn't mustang big. Seems way too niche. They should have tried to lower the weight and just kept it NA and had it compete with the twins. If it was like 3200 lb but had a V6 while being high $30's that would have been interesting. I see Supras here and there but have only ever seen one 400Z in person not on a dealer lot.
