I rarely drive on the freeway but I had to these last couple of days. Every time I'm on, I'm driving my little car super fast, changing lanes, watching out for others, keeping my distance from trailers, and then I wonder how the fuck am I doing this? It doesn't even feel real. One wrong move and I can turn into mush. I get home and I drink my Vitamin Water, stare at the wall and wonder how, how the fuck did I get home and not kill myself on the freeway?

I don't think people are aware just how close they are to death in traffic. All it takes is one driver to look away at the wrong time for it all to go wrong. Not jack shit you can do about it either. This is why I always preserve a certain distance to car in front of me, make sure no fag is taillighting me (if they are, I change lanes or let him pass) and I always check my blind spots in turns. Maybe modern cars built like tanks are safer but my 2008 Passat Sedan has hardened me in the ways of traffic. Despite that I've still been in numerous close-death situations. Whoever feels safe in traffic is a fool or driving a 2,500 kg electric war machine.
