Surely it doesnt have some kind of assortment of numbers and letters with no sentimental meaning to it. That would mean its no better than a jew in a labor camp who is issued a serial code.

I like the 86, but by your own rules it doesnโ€™t belong there
>Itโ€™s a reference to the AE86!
AE86 is just a manufacturer code for a Corolla

Its paying homage to a beloved car and I selected the pre-facelift image as it comes together to make an overall symbol with "86" incorporated into the design, not just "TOYOTA 86" stamped into the back.

If it was just "TOYOTA 86" on the back id call it souless but how its incorporated into the boxer i consider it sovl.

Mine's called a WRX and they haven't run a rally car since 2008. Is that soulful or just depressing, not sure.
It's cool that subaru did a hardcore time attack VA STI though.

Can anyone explain the logic behind S and RS for Audis?
I donโ€™t understand what the S is supposed to be? Sporty but not too sporty? Is there really a market for that?
Or is it just a way to extract more money for the โ€˜realโ€™ sporty version?

It's supposedly the same segment as the M-sport cars and baby AMGs (M340i, M50i V8s, CLA35) but in reality it's not much more than a trim package nowadays.

Nowhere near what it used to be with the old V8 S4s and V10 S6/S8s, which legitimately went up against the full BMW M cars. Kind of sad.

don't care. the brand name does not affect the actual soul of the car in the slightest. it's just an attribute. debadge all cars.
