You never had an M5 thoughbeit, and it's easier to just hit the traction control button and the throttle button than to have to change thw shit in idrive. And the shit was too soft even in Sport+ suspension setting because it was tuned for old-man-appeasement. Yes, even the Comp suspension. I always set it to 2nd transmission swtting and Sport steering until the car is warmed up, then throttle goes to Sport+, traction to MDM, and transmission to 3. If I use M mode, when I switch it off, i'd like it to go back to transmission 2 and Sport steering, not 1 and comfort respectively

But…you didn’t option that so your rear engine is more likely to keep going when you turn and you’ll oversteer. You didn’t option the PDCC so you don’t have control over the body roll and you understeer. You don’t have an LSD so when your engine is rolling out and your body weight is rolling out all the power is going to inside wheel with no traction.

This increases traction on the driven wheels, very nice on old 1950s tires. Today it’s a bit backward because the downsides outweigh the benefits.
You see the weight on the back means the front tires that turn the car have less traction and so the car is prone to understeer. Yet, there’s a paradoxical issue. If one is driving on a long curve with the accelerator pressed (such as the blanchimont) the weight moves backwards off the front and the car understeers. That’s bad because you can’t turn to follow the road. To correct understeer one release the accelerator and moves weight forward to the front tires to increase traction and this induce the vehicle to turn. On a 911 this weight transfer moves the weight to the front and off the rear very quickly and dramatically compared to a mid and front engine car. The front tires turn and the rear suddenly low on traction but powered by the engine induce oversteer. The ‘widow maker’. Same into a corner. The front wheels turn during braking but the weight is off the rear tires and the engine mass keeps going straight (centrifugal force).

Porsche realizing the car is a death trap added super Nannies to keep noobs from crashing and the computer controls throttle and brakes so you can’t doom yourself. If you opt to turn off the Nannie’s it comes with engine mounts that will shift the weight to counteract the force the engine observed that causes this dangerous oversteer

Bro it literally comes with the sport setting. You know what made me realize I couldn't care less about Sport Chrono? When I found out the valved exhaust feature is activated with Sport and Sport+. I fucking love the difference in sound when on throttle in Sport/Sport+. Also the kick in the ass from the harsher shift at redline in Sport+ felt awful. It didn't feel like the tranny was shifting faster, it felt like it could spell disaster in a corner if the car upshifted.
