because tripcodes are only important if i want to claim ownership of my identity in a singular thread, which i don't want to do, because those opinions are not necessarily always my actual opinions but bait to get people to answer a particular query or provide me some in-depth info i wouldn't have known otherwise because they are trying to seem smart and btfo a shitposter, and often times actually are very knowledgeable. sometimes this catches out someone else who doesn't realize this is actually a friendly exchange and starts a fight which is usually pretty funny. however i've found euros seem to not understand what sarcasm or irony is and aussies are just bitter cunts all the time now so the only people this works on are americans who do seem to be getting less frequent.
