Are windshield shades a boomer meme?
My family members keep telling me to use windshield shades on my car.
But I don't see the reason.
I never owned a car with a heat cracked dashboard before.
Or a sun bleached dash.

No, especially if you live somewhere hot. Either get the shade or ceramic tint.

Not a meme. Worth having one in the glovebox if you intend to leave a car parked in the sun.

Yeah they absolutely work, but make sure you don't get a shitty floppy foam one with a dull finish. It's worth spending a couple bucks more for a good one as they work a lot better. The ones with bubbles and a mirrored finish are the best.

Yes. They don't do much. You need to place them on the outside.
If places inside the heat is already in your car.

It's bonded leather because the shitskins that buy these muzziemobiles wouldn't know the difference between good leather or shit leather if a full grain leather purse smacked them upside the head during one of their frequent rape sprees.

i splurged on a weathertech one for my car. about 4-5 times more than the cheapo stuff at the regular auto stores or whatever, but you get what you pay for. the edges still havent frayed despite two years of daily use under the australian sun. the cheapo ones wouldn't even last 6 months.

Um, no? Enjoy your fucked dash and the electronics in your cabin prematurely failing because you're too fucking cheap to buy even a basic sun shade or too lazy to take ten seconds to put it up, and cope about it by equating it to boomers.
