My family members keep telling me to use windshield shades on my car.
But I don't see the reason.
I never owned a car with a heat cracked dashboard before.
Or a sun bleached dash.

Yeah they absolutely work, but make sure you don't get a shitty floppy foam one with a dull finish. It's worth spending a couple bucks more for a good one as they work a lot better. The ones with bubbles and a mirrored finish are the best.

i splurged on a weathertech one for my car. about 4-5 times more than the cheapo stuff at the regular auto stores or whatever, but you get what you pay for. the edges still havent frayed despite two years of daily use under the australian sun. the cheapo ones wouldn't even last 6 months.
