Why the fuck can they make these giant vehicles with giant square hoods their driver's cant even see over.
Yet they can't make pop up headlights? Not even for luxury cars.

One egg for each segment. Their sedans flop miserably. The eggs do fine.
It's a business.

I work as a chauffer part time and I can tell you these Lincolns are mammoth pieces of shit rendered basically unusable by their constant need for software updates. The Navigator is OK in terms of build quality, the rest are dogshit. You can pull apart the interior of the Aviator or Corsair with your hands if you wanted to. Have not touch a Nautilus, I don’t even quite understand why it exists.

The later, it is specially impossible to make a car with body pannels that thin and defined because all cars have to have a giga-reinforced chassis and rollcage hidden underneath which makes cars look fatter, on top of a lot more shit and nanies having to be fit underneath and in the engine bay.
Airbags are one of the key suspects here since they take up far more space in the sides, they make the pillars grow thicker and the doors chunkier.

Read your own links, dummy. The Coach Edition wasn't made by Lincoln, dummy. It was made by Cabot Coach Builders, dummy. You wouldn't say the 911 was a million dollar car just because Singer makes a million dollar version, dummy. Plus that's a stupid example anyway because that was a limited edition car and they sold out of them, dummy.

You're thinking of the MKZ. The Continental is a Taurus. The MKZ topped out around upper 30s. The Continental was an entirely different beast.

it was an option that you purchased at a lincoln dealership and partnered with lincoln. You had to buy a Black Label and then they send it to Cabot Coach Builders. The very first lincoln continental was built by a coach builder in 1939 and commissioned by Edsel Ford. Using Singer for Porsche is a false equivalency. On Singers OWN website, they state
>"Singer is not sponsored, associated, approved, endorsed nor, in any way, affiliated with Porsche Cars North America, Inc., or Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche, AG. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG is the owner of numerous trademarks, both registered and unregistered, including, without limitation, the Porsche Crest®, Porsche®, and the model numbers and names and the distinctive shapes of the Porsche automobiles, such as the federally registered 911 automobile. Any mention of Porsche Cars North America, Inc., or Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche, AG. trademarked names or other marks is for purpose of reference only"
limited editions do count because you said there was no higher option than Black Label and clearly there was.

both of these links show that you had to order through a Lincoln Dealer and any repairs were done by a Lincoln Dealer that had a certified technician for Cabot Coach

So by your logic the new mustang is a $170k car because Shelby sells the new Super Snake for that much. Never mind that 99% of Mustangs sell for 35-45k. Because one partnered 3rd party sells an expensive version that means all of them cost as much as the most possible version of them.

I'm not saying that at all. You said there was no option higher than 70k. This was a buyable option at a Lincoln dealer for 116k. You're making this way more serious than it is and hyperbole doesn't make you less wrong.

I think the Continental was discontinued because it simply wasn't selling anywhere near what the eggUVs were. Lincoln is in big trouble though, 4 amorphous SUVs and the brand is always a small corner at a Ford dealership. Theres nothing exciting or luxurious about Lincoln anymore which is really unfortunate.

2024 was Lincoln's best year since 2007. The market share is nothing compared to Lexus or BMW but they're not terribly far behind Cadillac

Dang, really? I see far more Cadillacs on the road than I see Lincolns, new or even old ones. Every time I do see a Lincoln its rather notable for how "rare" they are to me. Also because its sometimes hard to tell even what the fuck it is.

and now we have more distracted and stupidndrivers than ever. whether it's simply due to just having even more people on the roads now or the safety nannies giving stupid people a second chance remains to be seen but definitely feels like the latter given how some people quite literally expect the car to save them from themselves
