would it be weird to sit in the bed of my truck and eat lunch at work? 30 minutes isn't enough to drive anywhere, I don't like eating inside when it's sunny out, and there's nowhere to sit outside. I was thinking about buying a chair and sitting in my truck bed in my work parking lot. Not sure how strange that would be

Really going to depend on the job and your coworkers. Office job? Kinda weird. Warehouse job? Probably no one would even notice.

Do yourself a favor and put in a suggestion that they get some picnic tables outside. Something something fresh air increased alertness something something employee sociliazation something all the big companies do it. Sometimes all you have to do is ask.
