they are more dangerous than cars, but just like cars, a lot of that danger comes from user error

yeah, but that's ok. "dangerous" alone has always been a dumb argument.

They make full body protection suits that stunt riders wear.
The have inflatable airbags you can wear.
They have armored jackets, pants, and other stuff, that you can wear in LAYERS.
If you are prepared enough, there are probably ways to make a bike safer.
But most people want to "feel the wind" and are kinda stupid.
You can't fix society.
But as some people are saying,
No one lives forever.
Smoking and drinking Alcohol are dangerous too, and millions of people do those every day.

You could be wearing an integrated airbag full race suit with the best FIM rated helmet money can buy: Getting cheese gratered by a guard rail at 60 is still likely fatal. Your parts will just all be inside the suit, so it's easier for EMS to clean up.

>A guard rail will cheese grate you through a airbag/armor suit jacket, armor vest, and helmet.

I think you would get more hurt just from the impact making your brain hit the inside of your skull. (and possibly killing you)

I think your body would be mostly fine.
>>28466971
Couldn't you say that about any vehicle (aside from another giant trailer truck) ?

You're a tiny object on the road compared to cars. You weave through traffic like maniacs, and most of your speed and drive through blind spots as rapid speeds.
