GV70 is the better car, it's RWD and faster, and thus almost twice as expensive.
Blazer RS V6 is FWD but its much cheaper

Sorry, should have specified that the Blazer I would get is AWD that can switch to 2WD (though it kinda blows because that's FWD). GV70 in the States is only AWD.

Blazer has the same V6 as the Camaro and doesn't require premium fuel. Also, more aftermarket support (compared to the GV70).

So I keep going back and forth between the two.

Neither? Why are these even options? Im not even trying to be an /o/tist and say buy a corvette or something, theres better SUVs out there. Get a Mazda.

Are you asking which is the better car or which is the better value?
The GV70 is RWD bias at least, and faster, and more luxurious, so it is simply the better car, which means it costs a lot more money.
Personally, I dont care about all this in a crossover, I'd go with the cheaper v6 blazer. It has adequate power for a family car.
If I wanted a sporty car id get a coupe or sedan, not a crossover

The GV70 definitely competes pretty well with the bmw X3M, it's not a bad choice if you want a performance crossover that's different than what you usually see on the road.
The blazer v6 is just typical GM partsbin car, itll probably last a long time and repairs will be cheap, and have a surprising amount of passing power, but its not going to be exciting by any means.
Both arent bad choices.

Why not also consider a Lincoln? under the hood? Also, what are the relative prices of the exact cars you're looking at?

I can fathom the Blazer as a choice since it’s an NPC crossover good at only that and pretends not to be anything else, but buying a crossover for “performance” is just inconceivable for me. Maybe I need to get a wife and some kids?

All wet belt 4 cylinder ecoboosts lol.

Youd be surprised at how well an x3m or x5m handle lol. It's not for track purposes, but you feel pretty confident driving them fast.
They are definitely not soul sucking like most crossovers

Yep there are many crossovers and sedans i would like to buy but i cant because i dont have a family... as a single man in my 20s im stuck with a coupe

I don’t doubt this to be true, it’s just that at the price they’re commanding, you could just get a new boring commuter and a fun weekend coupe/sedan. But again, i’m talking as a young man with only a GF, so priorities have yet set in for me.

I've owned strictly sedans for the past x years... wanted an SUV. Delicate balance between any sort of "performance" and a fuckload of money if one of the imports breaks. My current is a 2011 Genesis 4.6 sedan. It's a tank, relatively quick and fun to cruise around in. I like the look of the 4Runner, but it's piss poor performance.

MDX was a contender.

I'm just indecisive. Researched the Genesis for a long ass time before I pulled the trigger. Knew so much I didn't even test drive it, just bought it and was happy. So the G70 is tempting as well.

Check any Genesis off the list, then. They're rapidly replacing Infiniti as the nigga's "foreign car" of choice.

Appreciate the insight. Wanted a Magnum for the longest time until the Basketball-Americans took them over.
