Yesterday I purchased this GS460 for the equivalent of 4,700USD. It has 97,000km on the odometer and all around good condition.

It's a great car and fairly quick but it really lacks a sense of speed and drama when driving it hard. Would coiloverd and a cat-back exhaust fix this or is it better to just appreciate it for what it is?

probably not worth making this faster but you could always put an exhaust on it, to hear the v8 better... start with a resonator delete or something... as you know these v8 luxury sedans came with pretty muted exhausts from the factory

it accelerates faster than any car I've owned before by a decent margin, but it doesn't feel as exciting doing it. maybe it's because I'm used to shitboxes that rattle and bump around so it feels like you're going faster than you really are.

Bro, If you wanted something sporty then you should have just bought a sporty car in the first place and not a luxo barge. I myself would go so far as maybe putting an exhaust on it (or at least removing the resonators or mufflers) just so you can listen to that V8, but otherwise just appreciate it for what it is.

The fact that they use a steering box at all is a massive detriment. 2 points to the GS since ALL MODELS (both V8 and 6cyl) use rack & pinion
