Take the redpill and live in a sailboat
>Cheap docking instead of taxes or rent
>Always connected to water and electricity at a marina
>Can travel around the world if you want to change scenery
>Women love boats
>No real license needed to own one but training is highly encouraged before blue water sailing
>Good internet via starlink subscription anywhere on earth
>Neighbours always up for a party and a beer

what running costs would I expect on a sailboat that mostly stayed moored?

if it's intended to stay moored then would that really incur much of a cost though?

Depends mainly on where you want to live, size of your boat and what your docking fee is.
With some wrenching yourself and not picking some luxury sailing yacht but a fiberglass boat with good maintenance youll be looking at a minimum of 5k a year for savings to 15k a year for comfort. With a 25-40 foot boat you are living much more luxurious than any van desu, but you will have to pay up for that extra space and privacy. I couldnt live in a van and be treated like a homeless person needing to drive to the local 24/7 gym to take a shit at night.

They're common as fuck in Oz, getting really old and worn out. I can spot when they're homeless residences a mile off.
