That Skoda Elroq EV with the large battery looks like a real banger. I might consider one a few years down the line when the used prices come down.

Aren't many cars on VW group's new platforms still among the most problematic vehicles on the road?
I think they've mostly patched the software platform and the dashboard doesn't brick itself that much any more, but they still come with those awful touch tablets and the reliability doesn't seem that good either. One bongland reliability review found the 2012-2019 Skoda Octavia pretty much the most reliable car in its class; all new VAG "MQB EVO" platform models were among the worst, with random issues in pretty much every system.

I'll admit I kind of like Skoda's designs and practical approach, though. I hope they can survive the germoids' retarded engineering and management.
