I've been arguing this case with retards on general threads longer than you've been browsing this website you fucking faggot
If youre going to have a GENERAL THREAD for the purpose of discussing a GENERAL TOPIC you need it to be searchable for actual newfriends
This isnt some Kool Kids Klub that only the elite can know or find, it's a fucking thread for retarded autists to talk about a shared interest on the internet

To any new or current rider reading this right nowโ€”please, learn from my mistakes.
Be careful out there and let this be a wake-up call, You only get one life, and it can be gone in a snap .

I'm not condoning reckless ridingโ€”far from it. But at the end of the day, we know the truth: you can ride as fast or as wild as you want. No oneโ€™s stopping youโ€ฆ BUT YOU.
Just know this: there are consequences. I learned that the hard way.
When I slid into traffic, the gust from the Camry zipped past meโ€”inches awayโ€”as I stared death in the face. In that frozen second, I felt a shock. A presence. Protection. I truly believe God saved me and gave me another chance to life โ€” despite my dumbass
To everyone who commented โ€œwalk fasterโ€, โ€œyou have no sense of urgencyโ€ โ€ฆ F you I was limping (gopro stabilization is so good you probably couldn't tell) and I nearly died. Everything happened so fast, yet somehow, it felt like slow motion. If you know, you know.
I get it. Riding a sport bike, or any type of bike is exhilarating โ€” nothing compares. But ask yourself:
Is it worth dying? Losing a limb? Becoming a memory? No. But look I also understand, if even owning one of these piss missiles comes across your mind, and it manifests to your reality, we all know the consequences of what owning these motorcycles can have.
Cherish your life. This experience has humbled me deeply, and Iโ€™m just grateful to be alive to share it.
Stay safe on the street.
P.S. Please check your mental state before hopping on that bike. It might just save you. โ€ฆ.Ohโ€ฆ.also, wear your proper gear - it's worth it, trust me.

I do like GSs when they are barebones, I did like the one my dad had, but it's become a race to see who has the most kitted out, all option boxes ticked, givi and whatever the fuck extras, out boomer the other boomers.
Ex gf's dad was obsessed with them, he had a 750 and constantly drooled over full sized GSs. He rides like shit too, hated going on a trip with him.

The surface texture of the official motgymkahana battlegrounds showdown center has changed. They like painted it black and flattened the little pebbles the surface was made from. It's very smooth but I get no feed back through the bars now and I feel like I have less grip so I'm scared to lean good. The tiny high frequency vibrations from going over the rougher surface made me feel better what do I do?

It's basically just an Australian style swag with an extra flap. The sleeping bag, ground sheet, and sleeping pad all roll into it. You can throw more shit in there like an inflatable pillow and sleeping bag liners, a change of clothes etc. The main benefit is quick setup/takedown. The price you pay is the huge bulk, hope you have big saddlebags.

If you can afford new get something old(my suggestions - suzuki GS 500, kawasaki er5) for a season, sell it for almost the same amount of money you bought it for and then get whatever new bike you want.

Yes it sounds awkward but you want to adapt to manhandling a motorcycle without dropping it as well as getting some experience before you'll get anxious over scratching factory new paint.

>And are we prepared to have a 3rd world infrastructure off?

No.

There is always work being done on the road and cars with a sidewall height of less than 6 inches will feel every bump in the road if not every rut left from a scrape as a fly by night attempt to level it. Asphalt so cheap it leaves potholes after the rain.

On some roads there are bridges but the connection between the road and the bridge is not level.
There are literally ramps on the road that you won't be able to see at speed. It seems nobody knows how to use a leveler anymore.

We got this one highway and at the top of this really long hill is a decent hump that if you don't know it's there it will buck you off your bike or send you airborne.

In my tropical hellhole after it rains we can get some potholes big enough to destroy truck tires, in some areas your riding line is whatever is left of the road or the footpath because the road is flooded with 1 metre deep holes that you can't see.

It never was like this, I still remember days were even if it flooded the road will still be good enough for a slammed JDM to use.

The MT07 came out over 10 years ago. It sounded better than 180ยฐ parallels, it was arguably an improvement in every way over its competitor, the SV650. Manufacturers caught on, as they like being able to reuse tooling. They're not so much cheap to make as they are easy to package and repackage. Very little frame footprint. Euro 5 and 6 discourage four cylinder engines. Various other factors. This shouldn't take much brain power to figure out.
