That is my philosophy.

Luckily I've always had really cool neighbors next door who loved my classic cars that were incredibly loud and obnoxious, they even helped me with swapping in a bigger and dumber motor.

But I've since moved and even though I've still got a cool neighbor, I've gotten quieter cars. Unfortunately there is some Karen who lives on the street over that I'm always turning down, yelling at me to slow down (cause I guess 20mph is too fast and loud?).

Unfortunately I'm starting to turn into the Karen. Caddy corner from my house, across the intersection there is a house with a few people living in it and they've got a slew of shit boxes parked on the street and a Q45 that's been on jack stands for 2+ yrs. Idc about the cars too much, but it's that and then constantly overgrown yard that looks trashy. But they're always working on cars and play good music so I don't mind it.

But my biggest issue is they have a douche bag friend (he drives a Harley, a brodozer, and a small crawler jeep) and the fucker will just leave them running outside with the music blasting for like 20-30 mins at a time. It's not even good music too, just that shitty mumble rap. The bass is super loud and you can hear it in my house which is amazing because it's so well insulated you can't hear someone yelling from the back bedrooms in you're in the living room. Always just want to put a round through his radiator when he shows up.

My neighbor is very old and I suspect she has dementia because she is constantly convinced that the guy my age living in the house on the other side of her house is breaking into her home and stealing everything from her driver's license to even goofy stuff like her can opener, sometimes I wonder if the only reason she doesn't also suspect that I'm stealing her things is because I'm just physically way too big to fit in any of the windows to her house, lol
I'm still going to be sad whenever she passes though, I have fond memories of visiting grandma's house and getting some dog treats on the back porch and going over to the fence to feed them to her dogs, she doesn't have any dogs now, just a whole ton of stray cats she keeps feeding even though she's allergic to them.
I also wish she would sell me the old Ford truck that's been parked in her yard for decades but while I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to convince her I doubt she will ever be able to find where the title is for that thing.
And it's probably full of gallons of cat piss and mouse carcasses by this point.

The old ballsack of a pensioner at the corner the street put out a trail cam to catch my sick skidz unto the road (it transitions from asphalt to gravel so I let the rear end kick out fairly often). He waited there one day and backed out to block me, which I ignored. But my tires unintentionally spun when I left which pissed him off enough to get out of his truck so I reversed back down the road and we had a heated discussion before I did it again (mostly unintentionally) and he threatened to call the cops in the most butthurt tone I've ever heard a 65+ y/o use.
