Its a very retarded setup, electronic fuel pump AND vacuum fuel pump
I verified the electronic pump works so the issue is either the vacuum valve, or the carb doesnt build vacuum

I rode a 2012 Ninja 250 for 4 years. They're good bikes if you can get them for a good price, but in hindsight something like a Versys 300 would have been better.
People say the upper limit for a beginner is 650, but I'd honestly say that a 400/500 is a good "confident beginner" bike. I've been riding for almost 7 years now and my CB500X is still perfect for me.

Alright, so the dealerships near me want $3300 for a new Grom before fees and taxes. The used bikes are all going for the same OR MORE (somewhere around $3500). The mileage is low on most examples because I would assume riding these things for any amount of time kinda sucks. If I were looking for a Grom, I would try to find a low mileage example (somewhere below 5k miles) and offer them $2000-2500 even if they are asking $3500.

I am just looking for a bit of fun, I never considered a motorcycle before because I grew up riding dirt bikes and actually it made me fear not controlling my own destiny (getting hit by a car). But this town is so small and slow over the summer, I considered the Grom. The meme status of it appeals to me too. Tempted to get a 701 for longer road trips and trails. I don't think the maintenance is intense enough on my 501 to justify it, though.
